I'm getting some clicking/popping on the drivers side while in 4x4 turning.Is there a way to test the axle?The boot looks good and it doesn't do it in 2wd.Can anyone explain to me how the 2wd and 4wd axles/hubs work on my 92.Thanks.

Could it be a bad bearing? To rule out that possibility jack it up then grab the wheel at 12&6 then 3&9 and try to wiggle it,there should be no wiggle.Could be something as simple as a small rock caught in the caliper or backing plate.
