Summit vortec heads?

Does anyone have any experience with Summit's Vortec heads? Would they be a good value over getting used GM heads gone through?

what are your plans for the motor?

It's already got headers/exhaust done, I'm thinking the Ultimate TBI mods, vortec heads, a 4x4 cam from Comp Cams, maybe a carb swap someday. Just looking to have a sweet mild-built daily driver/occasional mudder.

I've already ordered a TBI spacer, the injector pod spacer, the Power Charger and an Edelbrock open air element

i dont personally have them but there in a couple engine dyno articles and hey do quite well for a budget build.

Beware, the comp 4x4 cams are a bit radical for tbi. You will definitely need to datalog and tune.
