I got it from karlkustom.com. they were pretty good to deal with. Motor took a while to come in but I dont think that was there fault.Very nice. You may have already posted the info, but 53 pages is a lot to go through, so, where did you get your 383.
I agree. A tune is in the distant future. As far as the set up I like how it looks oe. I'm not much of a ls guy but then again I do like hp and torque lolI have looked at this same engine for a long time from different suppliers. The rated HP is based on all OE parts, and just a direct swap with no mods. I have read somewhere, that the HP will go up quit a bit with performance mods. A tune, exhaust, ECT will wake up the engine a good bit. My engine has 255,000 miles and runs grate, so a swap is not in my near future. Also I kind of want to keep my truck numbers matching. Everybody does or want to do the LS swap. Thats not at all what I want. IMO it takes away from the originality of the truck. To each his own, but I like the originality of these trucks. The 383 may not be numbers matching, but at least its the same set up as the OE just up graded.
