Steering wheel thread

Didn't see one started, and I am looking for some ideas for mine.

This thread can be a single place to put all of the ways you guys clean up your wheel, swapped to something different, upgrade to newer GM wheel, dressed up your OEM wheels, etc.

Right now I just have the OEM Dark Grey wheel. Looking to go with something black, but not too flashy or race car looking.

That is definitely something I am considering, is a newer GM wheel that is black, and still allows me to have the airbag. How hard are those to get to mount up?

I wouldn't imagine it would be too hard. If my Internet was up and running I'd get you a link from my computer, I think Dave has a write up somewhere.

That looks pretty awesome. Does anyone know if the GMT800s and up have the same splines on the steering shaft?

03+ steering wheels will NOT fit our trucks, different spline count.

Of course with some creative thinking, that can be worked around. But for most people it's not worth it.
