Silverado Tailgate Band Vinyl Letters?

Hi - does anyone make the pre-cut vinyl letters for the aluminum band on the rear of the Silverado tailgate?

I know I can buy the entire band from LMC and other suppliers, or I can try and mask off and paint the semi-flat black letters again.

But my masking skills are not great, and for the 67-72 Chevy C10 guys, you can buy the pre-cut vinyl tailgate letters in about any color.

Take you truck up to any local vinyl shop and they should be able to measure the lettering and cut it for you.

Bbbbut, what's a vinyl shop? Upholstery shop? Or like a sign shop?

Like a sign shop. We have places here that will cut whatever you want out of vinyl.

Sign shop. You might be surprised how inexpensive they can be.

Anyone with a cricut cutter can do it, or most any other stickers.
Worst case scenario send me the dimensions and I'll ask my wife to cut it out for you. It worked out for @Ethan Burdette lolol

You can always do what I did, but it's a lot of work, and a lot of work to keep up. I stripped off all of the clear coat, and paint. Buffed out the aluminum too a mirror shine, then taped and painted the letters. Oh wait, you said your tape skills aren't that good. LOL, ok, I'm showing off my work, here is a pic pic or 2, or more.

Kenny - you said the magic words: "it's a lot of work"

That is what I was trying to avoid. When I did my 68 C10 tailgate years ago it took about 15 minutes to apply and squeegee the vinyl letters onto the freshly painted tailgate. Turned out great and it was easy.
