getting truck painted hopefully in the next two weeks... waiting for an opening.

Body Shop says if i want Dupont paint, it will cost much more... or i can go with Sherwin Williams and save a little.

thoughts?

i'm not familiar with either... in the past i've had PPG on my 73.

it's paint lol and it works that's about all you can say.

IMO ANY paint is good it just might require sanding and buffing etc.

If you got the money to spend go for it, but IMO the serwin williams is good enough and it'll work and save you money.

Marcos: he's painted two cars that i am familiar with and see on a daily basis. Both had major damage...but look straight as an arrow now.

the paint looks great on both... looks like original paint. (one is a Mercedes, the other a Lexus)

...just asking because i'm ignorant when it comes to paint and the differences between paint companies.

Paint is paint. It's all in the prep work.
