I brought up the '8cyl' bin and it is now appearing in the boxes where 'no compare bin' previously was.
Am I ready to hook it up to the truck then?
For that you need the .adx file. Then you can watch it run in real time and data log.

I don't understand what I'm looking at here. Why does this ALDL cable have the box in the middle and the one from ALDL cable .com not have the box?

I'm not sure on the 1st one. I see dip switches that may have something to do with adding a 10K Ohm resistor, shorting pins A&B, 160 Baud (pin E), 8192 Baud (pin M), etc.
I have the ALDL.COM cable, it has jumpers that do that and, IIRC pins E and M are connected internally so it'll read either when connected.

Maybe just making it more complicated than it has to be???? Like using a whole pile of lumber to build a bridge when all you need is a 10 foot 2x12. lol Thanks!

Where might I find one of them?
If you can't find the corresponding .adx file, you can look for an .ads instead. I found an .ads file "99.ads" which is the older TP version but, you can convert it. Here's the link to .ads files
