I have what looks like mold on my side window trim. Has anyone had luck restoring it or replacing it?

A friend of mine swears that Murphy's Oil Soap is great for rubber moldings and trim, keeps them clean and pliable. I haven't tried it,maybe you can be crash test dummy.

Some compound or polish works too. All purpose cleaner or diluted degreaser with a stiff tooth brush is effective. I’d suggest a strip of tape across the painted surface under the trim if you’re worried about hazing and marring.

Once they’re clean some aerospace 303 is a nice protectant, but any vinyl/rubber/plastic dressing should be sufficient. I avoid armor all, it seems to cause more damage than it prevents.

Take pictures and let us know how it turns out!
