rear drums/shoes do NOT work.. why?

Thanks for the help guys. Got 2nd line fixed and complete. Drums are currently working. Truck still feels like it takes alot to stop... is that common with these vehicles? (I've heard it was) I'm going to check fluid again in a couple days to verify leaks or not also. For not having rear brakes, I didn't even have to replace front pads they still have lots of meat on them. And the brake idiot light worked itself off actually so I think i'm good with that.
