Does the VIN start with a 2? It indicates made by GM USA at the top of the sticker. If it were made in Canada, I'd expect to say GM Canada.

I stand corrected, VIN starts with a 1 = USA My mistake

What does the window vin tag say? That black tag is not OE. That is an after market tag. There's overspray on the door bumpers.

Just picked up this 1997 GMC K1500 with 130000 miles in mint condition. Truely a one owner! Thanks to the Oregon weather and the fact that this truck was kept in the garage most of the time. Just couldn't pass it up.
