As the title states, new driver side door switch. Window and power mirror functioning fine. Key fob locks/unlocks all doors fine but the new switch on driver does not and the factory switch on passenger side doesn’t either. Any ideas on what could be the culprit?

I have read on here that if either door switch is bad, that neither will work. I'm having a similar problem with my '97 crew cab C3500. I figure we use the power locks much more than the previous owners did....
They worked great after the battery was replaced...for 3 days. I believe the actuators are good because they work when the battery is disconnected (the aftermarket alarm system locks all the doors then). Haven't had time to get to the yard yet, to get some switches from one of their trucks....
