Yesterday on my crew cab, the power door locks quit working with the door mounted switch. Both sides! The battery connections are good and tight (cause believe me it wouldn't start if they weren't!). I know the actuator in the passenger side second door is probably loose from its bracket, since the window doesn't go down all the way and that door wasn't locking/unlocking with the power lock button. I checked in the owners manual and it says that's controlled by a circuit breaker. Are there any places I need to look at besides that? Thanks in advance!

They’re run from the cigarette lighter fuse, it’s worth a quick check.

So did one or multiple door switches crap out?
Either both door lock switches croaked simultaneously, or the circuit breaker is bad, or it blew the 30amp fuse mentioned in a prior post. It's been raining a lot here so I haven't gone out to mess with it yet.

Hmm. Only if you had another truck with the same switchs to check if it's the circuit or something else...

I changed the cig lighter fuse(20 amp). The old one didn't look bad and was not blown. When I put the new fuse in, the power locks cycled once, but the switch (I only checked the driver's side door one as that's the door I had open) still isn't working.
Also, I noticed that the diagram on the fuse box lid says that the circuit breaker for the power locks on the pickup is a 20amp one, but both of them are 30amp ones....
Any more ideas?
