I have never been intentionally mudding in my life in a personal vehicle
How clean is the valley?
5.7 or 7.4? My 5.7 vortec Burb has this job in its future. The FPR is starting to bleed down some pressure if it sits for several hours or overnight. It runs great otherwise, and starts okay if you let the pump prime for 5 seconds or so. Thanks!Wow. This lower intake gasket job is not fun. 10 hr today. Everything tore down. Tomorrow more cleaning, injectors and fuel filter and FPR. These crumbly plastic looms are a ******* bane of my existence.
Decided against paint/powder of vcs and plenum due to time. Will just have to clean them up good.
Cleanup of the valley and mating surfaces, intake manifold and plenum has been a big job but going well. dirtier than I'd like.
Think I'm just going to strip the vcs and run them bare metal for now.
