Yeah it does, he should take it mudding!

First, this truck is a simulacrum of its owner and only looks/talks tough.

Two, I have never been intentionally mudding in my life in a personal vehicle and will not be starting in this big girl.

Third, these are most definitely not mudding tires. These cheapies are total dogshit in the mud as I learned last summer in a little drainage course down in the bottom of a field we often camp in.

Wow. This lower intake gasket job is not fun. 10 hr today. Everything tore down. Tomorrow more cleaning, injectors and fuel filter and FPR. These crumbly plastic looms are a ******* bane of my existence.

Decided against paint/powder of vcs and plenum due to time. Will just have to clean them up good.

Cleanup of the valley and mating surfaces, intake manifold and plenum has been a big job but going well. dirtier than I'd like.

Think I'm just going to strip the vcs and run them bare metal for now.

5.7 or 7.4? My 5.7 vortec Burb has this job in its future. The FPR is starting to bleed down some pressure if it sits for several hours or overnight. It runs great otherwise, and starts okay if you let the pump prime for 5 seconds or so. Thanks!
