all cleaned up hopefully tomorrow I can get the reluctor on and finish the bottom end, I went with king bearing .001x, as per my ls engine guys recommendation. MAN THESE LS BLOCKS ARE SHARP!

question for you guys!

im putting new rings in it. so do i need to hit the cylinders with a ball hone?

my buddy said i did but i never do it when i do harley top end jobs!

You don't HAVE to. But like SC said, it will help the rings seat.

Just finished tuning one those in a G8. They seem to make their most power at 22* timing on 93 and 12.8 AFR.

What size cam you thinking?

alright Finished the bottom end still gotta put the oil pan on along with the oil pump, but its coming soon I did go with the melling high volume pump, figured why not. I also installed king oversized crank and rod bearings, new hastings rings, I did hone and reclean the block and slid the cam in.

Don't forget those oil pumps will suck the pan dry if you like hanging the rpms way up there. We always run extra oil if it's gonna be sitting above 5000 rpms for awhile.
