I'm trying to figure out the name for this part I'd assume it's a type of brace but can't find anything like it when googling it. Also is it bad that it's bent like that? Any help is appreciated.

Take it off and straighten it if it bugs you. It won’t affect anything bent. It would affect me.

I'd call it a fender brace.If you try to remove it be careful not to break the bolts,maybe a little PB Blaster on those bolts.If you break one you're gonna have a floppy fender.Maybe just leave it alone.

Straighten it without removing it - a ratchet tie down strap should make short work of that...

Your spare tire doesn't look like it's tight to the frame, like it should be. If it's just hanging and bouncing around, the cable could break and drop the wheel.
