Hi everybody. Long time lurker. I figured it was time to register and participate a little. I bought a 97 K1500 Suburban new and did a Cummins swap at 236K miles. Drove it another 10 years and the body was shot from the brine solution that is used here in the midwest. Last fall I drove out to Arizona to bring back another 97 that was in good shape, and have been busy swapping the Cummins/nv4500/f350 axles into it from my original 97. Happy to have found this site.
