This is my 89. Stock height, 15x10 with 295/50/r15 all the way around. Looking to fill up the wheel well a get rid of the lip a bit (as much as I love it). I'd like to keep the wheels I have here but am curious what size tire will work best on 15x10 to fill in the well. No clue on the backspace. I think I've seen some 275/60/15 that I think will do the trick but I'm not sure. Any help is appreciated, and apologies if this is the wrong place to post this question. New to the forum.

there is a 1.4 inch difference in diameter between 295/50 and 275/60, so figure 3/4 of an inch more tire in the wheel well. I don't think that's enough, but you might.
Truck is super clean too, not really my style, but a real nice example of the look.

Thank you, I’m going to take that into account and try to get an idea as to what it’ll look like on the truck. I hear you about it not being your style. I’d like to eventually remove the step rails and I have a simpler front valance from lmc that needs to go on. Appreciate the compliment and the help!

I have no useful input, but sweet truck! I dig the 90's look with the ground effects and the visor. Paint looks great too.

Thanks! Paint could use a little touch up, plenty of nicks and dings but you can’t see em doing 60.

Bout the only tire anymore is a 275/60. Not many sizes for that rim anymore. Could lower the truck some, 2/4 drop with either size would look good. I had a truck like that years ago, but not that nice!!!

Welcome and nice looking ride!

I don't know about 10" wide rims with 275/60 R15s? Here's my 88 with stock 15X7" rims and about a 2" drop in the rear. I could go lower though on both front and rear

Dig it! I personally don't like em slammed all the way to the ground. Love it when they're a little lower in the front than the rear. Yours looks great, nice and even. From what I've heard a 275/60/15 will work on a 15x10 but I should probably look into it more.

They probably will fit, a 275 tire is 10.827" (275mm/25.4 mm per inch) wide so, you'll pretty much have straight sidewalls.
