Need some input on somethings.

So I have a 1994 Chevy k1500 that I would like to do a few updates to the interior to make it better. The first thing i'm wondering is, I have a flip up head unit that came out of my brother's truck, my only consern is that it will get too hot having the heat running with the monitor flipped up. Is that possible, has anyone had that problem? Also I was wondering about putting LED's in my gauge cluster, maybe my air controls, and my other interior lights, does anyone know who sells LED'S that is good to work with and would know what all I would need? I remember that there were a few people selling them on here, but didn't know if they still did.

As far as the head unit I can't see you having any problems due to having the heat on.

Okay, thanks! I didn't know if that would make it get too hot or not so I figured I would ask and see if others have done it. Now I just need to get the dash piece.

I'd be more worried about impeding air flow to you in the summer.

The A/C barely keeps up without a screen blocking two vents already.
