There are two needed per side. One through each upper bushing.
You probably already have them installed in your vehicle. Both my '88 and '97 have them already.
NOTE: If you think your suspension "needs an alignment"; what you REALLY need is to figure out what's worn-out, and replace those parts.
Rotted suspension bushings, worn joints, and incorrect ride-height are the usual causes of "needing" an alignment. Sometimes, the frame sags or control arms bend--likely due to unrepaired collision damage.
Point being, you're more likely to need suspension repairs than "just" an alignment.
