Went ahead and picked up a set of factory front spindles for the truck, so I can ditch the 2" drop spindles. It'll make running 15's ALOT easier, where I won't have to cut the "Rain gutters". I did that once on a set of control arms and after a few years, they actually started to bend upwards right before the ball joint. I've cut alot of stock power trucks and never had an issue. It's apparent with more power, it puts more upward and downward stress on that point. I'll probably raise the frontend an inch, while taking another inch out of the coilovers on the front.
Also unloaded the truck from the trailer, put it on jackstands so I could throw the new trans yoke in and order my custom driveshaft for this setup. Hopefully it'll be in within a week or so.
My interest in messing with this truck, really seems to come and go.
