Don't forget that the oil cooler will be harbouring glitter.

Good point. Gonna need to flush it out real well, if not outright replacing it.

Yeah I just learned the other day that even trans coolers aren't guaranteed, because my blazer doesn't have one.

I don't have an extra oil cooler, only the oil lines that run into my radiator. Also does anyone know how much an external trans cooler would cost? Couple forums said those help big time

Read the stickied thread here in the trans section, there's a new part number and I think it's around $100.

That would be the factory oil cooler in question, so you do have an oil cooler. Go to RockAuto, enter your truck, they’ll have the factory transmission cooler. You’ll need an additional 2 transmission lines to complete. The factory set-up is the easiest imo.
