Ok, so been keeping up the comments, ended up waiting a while we pulled the motor last night found out not the original 350, and this one is also has been rebuilt before.
Gonna get the video and photos i had crank is already toast rods are in good shape just main bearings and crank are destroyed, already has .010 over bearings doubt that can be salvaged with as bad as it is. After learning all that we decided at this point of considering a carb swap and going much bigger than originally intended as the truck was towed off the highway in Sept. 2016 and has sat since.
Pretty much the only this salvage-able is the rods pistons and block as the pistons are brand new 4' bore and rods are new from the previous rebuild. Pulled the covers heads were filled with rust, had to beat the dist. off with a hammer.
That being the case the only good we have (while very VERY nice looking) is the block pistons and rods) Cam/Flat tappet lifters were very nice aswell but lobe lift was .0381" on #1 Int so worthless stock cam.
Any suggestions for cranks/ bottoms ends?
probably going to looking into a set of summit racing Aluminum heads and various items this being the case pretty much scrap the TBI idea?
