1500 and 3500 drag the same trailer, but the 3500 does so with a massive camper in the back. I suspect it to be north of 8500#, I'm kinda scared to hit the scales. I am between 1100-1200# on tongue weight as measured by a tongue scale. Truck(s) never gets hot and I generally don't have to floor it to get the mess down the road. But it (they) does make a metric **** ton more torque than it did stock.

I'm not sure what brand my local trans shop put in mine when they rebuilt it, but I do know it is around ~1800 stall. I had them build it for some mild towing. When it was first built, I had to HOLD on the break otherwise the truck wanted to creep through the intersection. It shifts very frim into second and sometimes third. If I have weight in the bed(~500Lbs) or towing something, the shifts become much smoother. The most I've towed with my C1500 is about 5000Lbs.

B82 left me wanting more atall speed in my Express van, especially towing. Had Performance Torque Converters of North Texas build me a custom stock diameter high str 2,800 rpm converter with a billet front cover.

Thank you! I called them and they said they can rebuild mine for $100. Based on the cross refence I've done, it seems like the stock stall speed for this transmissions is 2,200-2,400 RPM. I hadn't plan to go to a different stall speed.
