Took me probably 45 mins or an hr per side with a grinder an a drill. My air hammer wouldn't budge them, but I think it was the cheap punch I had for it from harbor freight an not the hammer itself....

On my 92 both the uppers and lowers were riveted in. That was about 5 hours of hell. 30 mins for each upper, 2 hours for each lower.

When you are doing this be sure to look at your tie rod ends, they will cause slop as well. Also grab the front and back of the tire and look at the brake caliper in relation to the spindle. It may also be a loose wheel bearing, even if they donnot make any noise.
