I'm probably one of VERY few who has an 8-lug truck that originally had 24 lugs.... My 88 Sierra with a Dana 44 / 14FF combo, 454TBI and NV4500.

I want one way bad do you know the differences between the ones in the dodges and the ones for our trucks

There are 2 GM versions, 92-94 and 95+. The later model GM trans is geared slightly differently, and the Dodge is the same in that regard. The input shaft, output shaft and bellhousings are entirely different though.

1995 454 4L80e 4.88 gears, air bags, banks power pack headers piped into one 3" flowmaster straight back. No cat. just headers, some tube, a flowmaster, more tube. all msd ignition. k&n open element filter, all smog stuff disconnected. Pulling her in 4Lo with front axle unplugged at the actuator to give me 2Lo.

Many upgrades on tap but will need your input before I buy.
