Keyless Entry 98 c1500

All I want to know is if I can find a keyless entry module from another 98 in the pull yard and plug it in my truck with a factory GM remote, will it work?

Mine didn't come with a factory keyless entry.

ive looked around, but to avail have I found anywhere that says I can do this.

Check out the crime stopper sp-402 cheap and easy to install, and it works flawlessly.

You'll have to look for the plugs for the keyless entry (red arrow) on your truck. They will be to the right of the steering column, probably taped up somewhere.
Sometimes they are there, sometimes they are not.
My truck did not have them.
I had to go to an aftermarket keyless entry system.
