K1500 vs K3500

I was looking at balljoints and noticed the part numbers for the 1 tons is different than the 1/2 tons, why?

They are different ball joints thats why. They call support more weight. They are two totally different ball joints........

Different design. Mounting pattern is different, shape is different, and size is different. They are not interchangeable.

Its because the upper control arms are different.
