ingition key stuck in!

Hi Guys
In my 95 Tahoe the key remain in ingnition in acc position in P and i cannot remove it.
Why this happens?
What a practical solution, because this problem drain the battery!

First time my son drove his 96 Tahoe alone he comes back and says he can't get the key out. He had it in ACC.

100% this could be the issue. If it’s turned all the way back, it might seem “stuck” to OP.

My 93 used to be like that! Wouldn't even go into accessory unless you removed the key FIRST!

That’s funny, I do remember having a car once started, you could pull the key out.

My buddy's square body was like that. It was kinda handy if you need to get out and do something with your keys and leave the engine running.
