Been working on this bed lately,
I only plan on sanding the inside with 80 grit, to prep for the liner. The bed rails are pretty rough, and I want to keep my stake pockets.
I'm going to clean up the bed rails some, then let the liner come up over the rails.
I'm not too worried about the dents in there. I will have to weld something over the hole where the old gooseneck was,
Then I will clean up and reinstall the rails for 5th wheel hitch.
welded up some holes in the rails (grind it down), then fiberglass on them (sand it out), then lay a coat of Bondo on,
Hipster you are right, crazy how fast metal wants to rust after being exposed.
Ugg, looks like a lot of sanding left, but I'll eventually get it.
Alright, let's tackle that roll pan.
Grinded around the edges, and got it tacked in place. Yay!
