Maybe I’m wrong but this looks like the rear brake line from the master is going to the front line on the proportioning/combination valve. Maybe I’m wrong

The front portion of the master cylinder operates the back brakes. The back of the proportioning valve is the back brake side. So to do it correctly the lines must cross.

I think this is relevant to you with the older style
I believe it will be similar. Basically, I used the OE master cylinder with a combination valve that was probably originally designed for a car from the 70's.

It was a generic valve from summit. I posted the part number on the previous page.
I understand that.

Someone asked where to get one. I replied on where you can get an oem unit.
I personally try not to use aftermarket parts if I can help it.
