ABS Delete

I have a 1997 Chevy Suburban 4x4 and how do I delete the big abs box and add a proportioning valve off of a 86 Chevy suburban brake system.

My proportioning valve seems good till my brake line in front of the engine blew. I haven't had time to work on it, In process of replacing fuel tank at present.

What is wrong with the ABS box? Doesn't make sense to delete it unless it's something non-fixable.
