How to make a typhoon out of a full size blazer

Newbie here, I know lowered 2wd trucks. Want to do full size 2 Dr 99 blazer as a typhoon style. Local guy selling a 4wd 2 Dr blazer cheap...As a rolling shell. I'm guessing escalade running gear? Not sure if they are better/best transfer cases front diffs. I'm probably leaning to a conventional sbc 350/383 with modified tpi. Any info..suggestions...inputs appreciated. Thanks Lenny

99 would be a Tahoe, but that probably doesn't matter.

I'm not sure what t-case options there are.....maybe from an awd Astro?

The Typhoon and Syclone were turbocharged.....twin-turbo, I think.

Cool idea! I'd do an AWD 6.0/4L65 out of a GMT 800 Escalade or Denali if it was me, just for tuning and simplicity.

Just a single turbo V6. Nothing special by today's standards, but definitely for their time.

Gm used the t-case from the astro when they built the typhoon and syclone

The transfer case is also the same as an Oldsmobile Bravada, first generation ones specifically.

I think there is an episode of Trucks or whatever where they did that and made an LS swapped AWD OBS.
