Hood alignment

So I went ahead and did the recommended loosening of the core to frame bolts. Attached a ratchet strap to my other truck and pulled it to the passenger side. A few tweaks here and there. Got way better results. The hood shuts completely now but the gap is a little off. I’ll let the body shop guys deal with it when the time comes.

You mentioned body shop. Did you ever get the truck repainted?

If you just slam it down it will self align.
