help with full float swap

Looks OK to me, just tighten it. The strap needs to be "stretched" around the cap, and that's also why the hole is an oval.

Edit: Looking at your first pic, there seems to be a gap at 9-o-clock, just above the nib on the yoke. Use a hammer and tap the u-joint cap in farther,

C'mon Happy! Just tap it in. Just tap it in. Give it a tap tap tappity.

Or tighten the strap as I first wrote, and it will push it in where it's supposed to be, and the strap gap will be gone.
