I have a 96 350 that has the egr on the driver side manifold. I think its egr anyway. Do i need to find headers with this or do you delete it? Also What is the factory exhaust size on these trucks? I have 2.5 cats and mufflers and would like to run 2.5 all the way from the headers. If im going to need to mod the whole exhaust id just assume get lts if my stock duals will work ill get shortys

I you want to keep your truck emissions legal then yes you need header's with the egr fitting, but the egr can be turned off with a custom tune, it kind of depends on your state emissions laws.

In Tx the laws are relaxed. Ill be doing a custom tune anyways. Does it effect anything?

You might loose 1 or 2 MPG's out on the interstate, that's from my personal experience, other's will argue and say it doesn't. It's really up to you.
