I have my truck bed off to have it dipped and needed to replace the fuel pump anyway (that's what started this whole disassembly). Since the fuel pumps seem to be a weak link for the Vortec's, is there a standard recommendation? I plan to do some engine modifications (cam, headers, intake) so that I can have about 350 crank hp on my 5.7L

Thanks for any recommendations!

I've replaced three fuel pumps in my truck. Last one I picked up from the dealer and it's holding up as well as the original factory one did. Keep your fuel filter changed and enough gas in the tank to keep the pump covered.
