let me explain my dilemma. I had headed out on a short trip and about two hours into driving my engine sputtered then slowly lost all rpm and left me coasting down I-80. After I had it towed to the next nearest town I noticed that the fuel pump wouldn't fire up when the key was twisted. so I replaced the fuel pump fuel filter and the pump relay just for good measure. Everything fired up and worked fine. so I attempted to drive home and the same thing happened except now I can still hear the pump prime up when the key is in auxiliary.
