I finally got some fans today. I will be buying the relay kit posted and running them on high. Now how do i run a overide switch? Id like to have that extra security.

for the override switch just splice into the temp sensor wire...from there run your switch wherever you want it and then to ground

How can I test the fans before actually installing? I dont want to get into it to realize they dont work

Just hook one lead to each post on your battery. Polarity doesn't matter for a short test. When installed though you want to make sure it's pulling air through radiator when mounted on the engine compartment side.
