Good Stuff!!!

My 88 C1500 Silverado has a 2 tone blue interior. From what I can tell the darker is pn15043, Shadow Blue. Does anyone know if the lighter blue is pn15643, Pacific Blue?

Also, is the Satin Clear Color Coat Clear pn13013 what I should use over the color coats?

sewlow,

Read your excellent post from a few years ago you linked.

As a painting contractor I'm glad you mentioned using a soft or medium bristle brush when cleaning textured surfaces. Most "instructions" and videos are using a scotch pad that simply passes over the top of the texture, and does NOT clean the voids between the high spots of texture.

Dawn also does a good job of removing grease and nicotine, but it does have color and scent. 90% alcohol as the second phase of cleaning takes care of that.

I usually get the paint guy to match the colors I need. No extra charge.
I couldn't tell you what the actual names are.
I did have an off-the-shelf blue spray bomb which I used to dye this armrest, but I must of used it all 'cause I can't find it in the paint cabinet to check the name.
...and that's probably the same color as what you need too!

Thanks for looking, what about the satin clear coat? Is that what I want to use?

I have both and can paint a test piece if you want to see the actual difference. Pacific blue didnt match the can and I ended up redoing my parts in shadow blue.

Thanks for the offer, I just ordered a couple cans of each. I guess I can always paint the whole interior if they're not close enough. I already have the Shadow Blue and it looks close enough to the darker color.
