I have golds in everything but the 96, it has the platinum, but I had plans for a winch, which has been ordered, no problems out ta mine, going on a year now I think

No clue whats in the truck, Duralast in my car though. When the time comes I will put one in my truck too. 10 years ago I was an Optima man, but now, well.......... You know. I'm sure there are many other good brands out there as well, but the Duralast is what I'll be running.

I have the regular red duralast in my truck and it cranks it over nicely. The coldest temp I've seen in pa this year was only 2* though.

I'm sure the Duralast will work just fine for you, but just FYI for about $50 more you can get a DieHard Platinum from Sears. One more year of free replacement warranty for a total for four, and a little bit more cranking amps and reserve capacity. They're made by Enersys, same company who makes Odyssey. I started a thread a while ago about the Odysseys.

Not sure why they only list it at 740CCA on the side there, it's 850. The picture of the battery itself confirms this. For comparison, here's the Odysseys I run in my trucks. The cases even look exactly the same.
