For the record, when I got my 96 K1500 2 1/2 years ago, it had a brand new Delphi fuel pump and hanger. They(Chevrolet Dealership I purchased from)probably put a new fuel filter in when replacing. Not KNOWING I also replaced filter. Filter was replaced at least twice for each year owned and probably never more than 8k before changing. 34 gl. tank never run low. Fuel pump failed about 2 years after installation.
