I am a bit late to the party here, but I have 22x8.5 wheels 265/35/22 tires and 2" djm spindles. Works out great for me.

Just remember there are 2 different DJM drop spindles for 88-98 trucks. theres a 88-91 light duty and a 92-98 spindle. Make sure you get the right one.
