DRL problem

hey guys i just put in my hid kit and its pretty great but i removed my DRL fuse and the module under the dash and i still have day time running lights coming on. how is this possible? any ideas?

That's weird, my dad just pulled the drl fuse with his and they don't come on

You've got something funky going on if the module (ie: resistor) is removed and the DRL is still on.

If you look at the circuit diagrams, that's not possible with it removed.

The dash light will still come on, but your headlights should not....

thats what i thought, but i know my truck came from the states. so with that being said is it possible the DRL's were hard wired in?

Unlikely.

Are the headlights actually on or is it just the dash light?

in the "off" position, the low beams are on with no dash lights

"middle" position, park light are on with no headlights. dash lights are also on

"on" position, everything is on
