Double din in 88-94 guys!!

So my buddy at a local stereo shop mocked this up for me. Nothing fancy but hey its a first and cane out pretty good imo. All is beeds is some fiberglassing and bondo to clean it up then wrap or paint idk which yet. What do you guys think?

Where I live I love having AC.

What are you going to do about the duct work behind this radio unit? If you don't reroute it you will need to plug it off or the heater will help cook your unit.

I was thinking of a heat shield like whats around exhaust systems

Whatever you do please either plug or relocate those vents. I don't think any amount of heat shield in there will keep that poor double din from overheating eventually if you don't do one of the two. It might actually hurt things even more by blocking ventilation for the unit.

I've got this one I found on the ground between two trucks at a recycle yard paid $5.00 for it I don't know if these came on those GMT400's or not? But going to try to use it in my 90 to see if I can add a double din in that space also we'll see.
