Not even close to the embarrassing mess I have in basement bench and drafting table. Had to clean stuff up to take to dump, all pilled on my bench and drafting table. Over and under it all JUNK for dump. I build my Grass and Ice drag race sled motors there. Nothing in site but junk now for spring DUMP LOL...

Yeah,I've got a 3'X6' steel work bench and my actual working area is about 15"X30" Tools and parts get the rest.

Mine looks like that even when I'm not working!

I get the urge to do a deep clean and re-organize about once a year but then as soon as I start working out there again it's back to the same old mess.

My wife hates it too but her answer to everything is "Oh i just tossed it in the garage" or "Oh I just left it on your desk" and then she wonders why my garage and desk are always messy!

I think I spend more time looking for something/tools I lay down than actual working on stuff.

And yes, my wife tries to throw the cardboard away and I tell her, Hey I need that stuff!

Don't mean to flex on you guys with all my Christmas presents on there but they just haven't found homes yet. Yes those are Norseman Magnums and no you can't borrow them.
