Does anybody know if you can monitor knock counts in DC?

Let's assume for fun that you can. Are you able to go back after a drive and see under what conditions it occurred? Or is this only a real time display?

Where's it reading from? I have an issue with the dually that I have yet to nail down, that is my PCM reads low system voltage. Both may be correct and you could have a voltage drop somewhere that doesn't affect the whole truck.
I see where you’re going I think. It’s gotta be reading from pcm you’d think. I should take a reading straight from alternator and see what that says.

Not sure, but I see, as I’m sure you can see, the PID.

Usually it asks while setting it up if you want live readings or average and something else I think. Might depend on what your trying to do.

Just a quick set-up and got this. Might have to play with it some.

Oh Cool! Knock retard would be a cool one to watch also. Especially with that other fuel economy and performance thread going the direction of trying different octane ratings

For anyone who has Dash Command, I’m trying to figure out how to get transmission temperature’s. Using a BAFX OBD2 ios and after buying Dash Command also purchased “in app purchase” for GM 1996. Still not seeing transmission temperature.
Also, when looking at PIDS, to the left of each is a green ball showing what is supposedly supported. If you click on each one a check mark appears on green. Should I check each one like in picture below. TIA
i monitor mine with the dashboard option like this, also after checking on a pid it shows up on data grid section and will give you min-max and current reading

I’m not even sure what I’m looking at there. What does the 50 count mean?
Also, BlackBear did tune mine.

I've never logged knock counts myself, only knock retard. The sensor will hit a certain count threshold before pulling timing. I'm not sure what that threshold is.

Just put multimeter on battery and it’s +14.11 at idle, so yeah, that actually matches right up with truck voltmeter.
Dash Command is 12.90, I guess similar to what you’re getting at PCM. That could be normal for PCM.
