For the sake of science, I had previously installed a sensor in the test port. So, while just out for a drive, in lower temperatures they were pretty close(100°-130°), but started to separate, with the GM sensor going higher. This picture was taken at same time as picture in last post. At this temperature, it’s probably a 6°-8° difference.

Now go hook up a trailer and watch how quickly those temperatures diverge.

That was always the whole point. Towing those 2 Atv’s on highway, using test port sensor, I was reading about 155°. If traffic slowed to a crawl, I’d get up to maybe 195°(only once for maybe 5 minutes). Any higher and I’d probably be looking for a cool down.

You can also get the digital readout to get a number along with the analogue needle. Here is mine that I created for the 97 Dually. If I cant screenshot an iPad I'll just take a picture of it, lol.

The fuel economy on the top right has the instant economy on the needle and trip average on the digital display.

And the Quick Gauge next to it I am still trying to fine tune but it is to show instant fuel economy logged over 1-min. I still havent figured out how to make that work right though.

Besides the big needle RPM / digital MPH, All of the other ones I have the digital readout showing the same as the needle. Sometimes its nice to see a needle like HP and torque other times I just want a number like temps but its nice to have both.

You can set whatever values you want and Red Zones etc. I highly recommend taking some time to fine tune the display to get it to benefit you the most.

I added a Voltmeter. In my “Supported PID” list I have CALC.FRP which is fuel rail pressure, but I can’t seem to get that.

You're not going to be able to calculate fuel pressure on this. But you should be able to poke around that PID and see what it takes into account to make that calculation.

Doesn’t seem so, not really necessary, but would be kinda cool to have.
Here’s one, at idle actual truck voltmeter reads a little under 14.5…Dash Command reads 13.00, I’m inclined to say Dash Command is more accurate.

Where's it reading from? I have an issue with the dually that I have yet to nail down, that is my PCM reads low system voltage. Both may be correct and you could have a voltage drop somewhere that doesn't affect the whole truck.
