I have a V6, and was thinking it could be possible to move the radiator closer to the motor and use a V8 shroud. You'd just have to make a small shroud in front the radiator to keep the air going to it, might not eve have to do that. And for the V8 guys with electric fans, this would work too. I don't know how much it'd help, but I'm sure it wouldnt hurt. You would have to make some brackets too.
Another idea, relocating the battery to the firewall, I haven't put much thought into where exactly though.
All of this would make drag racing times slightly better and handling slightly better. Just thought I'd throw some ideas out.
