This is what I have, and it's been great so far

Alternatively any "orbital"/random orbit polisher from a known brand power tool maker with a hook-and-loop back of the appropriate size (~6") should be just fine. I've also used the Porter Cable version and it works just as well.

I would have gone with the P-C rather than Griots (the old Griots polisher is the P-C one), but at the time they were more expensive.

I use Black & Decker's 6-Inch Random Orbit Waxer/Polisher. Model number is WP900.

Would like to hear some recommendations on good power polishers (brand and model numbers) as I need to buy one. Hope this is not seen as a thread jack, it just seemed like a good thread to post this request.
If you really want the best then go with a Rupes big foot or a flex. If you don't want to spend that much, then get a Porter cable. I am Meguiars certified.

For newbies porter cable would be a great starter machine for Pro you can't go wrong with flex or Makita.
