I have two trucks in my garage that I am working on. The donor truck is a 1996 c1500 with 160k. The other is a stripped down 1997 c1500. Same color, same cab, but has a clean title vs the donor which has a salvage title and a bent frame in the front.

Hopefully I can post here to share my progress.
My plans are to swap everything over from the 96 to the 97.
Bare with me as this will be a first for me to post pictures to a forum.

It has been over a a year since I started this project. I have worked on it most recently almost every day. I pulled the entire engine harness out this past weekend. All the way from the rear o2 sensors, transmission and engine sensors. I think that putting the harness in the truck before the engine goes in will help.
Last weekend I installed the HVAC box and dash.
before that I installed dynamat.
Here are a few photos of my progress.
